Crediting frequency-Interest will be credited into this account quarterly. Fees may reduce earnings.

Average daily balance computation method-Interest is calculated by the average daily balance method which applies a periodic rate to the average daily balance in the account for the period. The average daily balance is calculated by adding the balance in the account for each day of the period and dividing that figure by the number of days in the period. The period we use to make this calculation is monthly.

Accrual of interest on noncash deposits-Interest will begin to accrue on the business day you deposit noncash items (for example, checks) into your account.

Minimum balance to open-The minimum balance required to open this account is $10.00.

Deposit limitations-You may make an unlimited number of deposits into your account.

Limitations on frequency of transfers-During any calendar month of statement cycle of at least four weeks, you may not make more than six withdrawals or transfers to another account of yours or to a third party by means of a preauthorized or automatic transfer or telephone order or instruction.

Kids Club Savings Account

There is nothing minor about this savings account that children through the age of 12 can take advantage of. With a great interest rate and no minimum balance this is a great way to teach young customers the value of saving and money management as they get older. Minimum balance to open is $5.00.

Limitations

You must deposit $1.00 to open this account. The Club Account enrollment period is November 1st through January 31st. The final deposit must be made by November 1st. Minimum club amount is $5.00. Deposits can be made weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. A transaction fee of $5.00 will be charged for each withdrawal prior to maturity. Withdrawals and transaction fees will reduce your club account balance.

*Bonus

You will receive a deposit of your club amount to your account of up to $50.00 from CCU if your balance at maturity equals 49 payments of your club amount. Final deposit over $10.00 will be reported to the IRS on form 1099-INT.
